Snow Day(s)

So, we are on our 5th snow day in 2 weeks...our 3rd one in a row. We have been trying to fill them up with fun things! Here is what we have done so far...

Had a picnic in the living room...in our pj's...

played with our toys...still in our pjs...

made and played with play dough...still in our pjs...

did some school work...still in our pjs...there were some days we didn't get dressed at all..

made some super capes...finally a day we got dressed!

...played in the snow of course!

did a lot of puzzles...

pretended the couches were cars...

and that we were driving to Utah...

made this cute baby smile...

and humored Mom by posing for pictures. Snow makes for really good indoor lighting...

I think I got some really cute ones. These are my favorite.

Isaac's smile is like that in every single picture I took!

Here is how Luke felt about taking pictures! :)

Andrew was the easiest one to photograph...he is such a happy baby!

I was so sad this one turned out blurry, but I still have to post it...look at the smile!

Luke told me he thinks Andrew is the cutest baby in the whole world...I have to agree! All my kids are cute!

He is so cute I couldn't just pick one favorite...

He likes to stick his tongue out...can you tell? :)

More Andrew

Its been awhile since I've posted some new pictures of cute Andrew. He is getting so chubby! At his last apponitment 2 weeks ago he was 12 lbs. 11 oz.

Merry Christmas Everyone!

We had a wonderful WHITE Christmas, with my sister visiting, good friends, and the wonderful blessing of THREE healthy boys. We couldn't ask for more!

Every year I say I'm going to hold back and every year we go a bit nuts. This time we went a bit nuts in Disney World. We got a good deal on the bikes though.

Disney World ROCKS!

We had an awesome time in Disney World! We took hundreds of pictures, so we won't bore you with them all, but here are some of our favorites.

We can't wait to go back! I am already planning our next trip!

2010 has been a very eventful year for the our family!

Our biggest news is the addition of Andrew Roy Erickson to our family. As many of you know we had been trying to adopt a baby for about a year. On September 10^th we got an email from an amazing young woman from Georgia who had selected us to adopt her baby. Less than two weeks later we got a call saying that her water had broken and to get to Georgia as fast as we could. We rushed there and were able to spend some time in the hospital with Andrew’s birth mother while we waited to see when Andrew would make his appearance. It was wonderful to get to know her and we truly grew to love her. On September 28^th at 5:15 am, Andrew decided to show his adorable face. We were able to be in the room for the birth, and it was amazing. We instantly fell in love with this sweet little boy and are so happy to welcome him into our family. Despite being born more than 5 weeks early, Andrew did remarkably well, only spending one week in the NICU. We were so happy to finally be able to bring him home and Luke and Isaac have been wonderful with him. They love having a little brother! We can hardly wait to take Andrew to the temple and have him sealed to our family.

Isaac turned 4 in February and started preschool this year. He has loved it so far! He had fun playing tee ball and became quite a good swimmer this summer. He loves playing with his friends and rough housing with his Dad. He also loves dogs and is trying to wear his parents down to get him one!

Luke turned 6 this past May and started 1^st grade in the fall. He loves to read, and is excelling in math. We are so proud of him and how much he has grown this year. He played coach’s pitch baseball this year and has decided that baseball is his favorite sport. He also loves to swim, build things, and ride his bike.

Jen keeps herself busy with her calling in the Primary and her various hobbies, but her kids keep her the busiest! She loves being the mother of 3 handsome boys!

Tyler just finished school at Washington University this month and now has his MBA! We are so proud of him for all his hard work and we are looking forward to having him home more often. To celebrate his accomplishment, we went to Disney World the week before Christmas!

We feel blessed beyond measure this year and hope that this holiday season finds you all happy as well! We are so grateful for this season to celebrate the birth of the Savior and remember that all blessings come from Him!
